Delivering Predictable Outcomes
in the AI Era |

| Enterprise IT spent decades engineering predictability: transactions commit or roll back, batch windows close on schedule, and the workload that ran last night runs the same way tonight. AI is the first technology we have deployed at enterprise scale that behaves differently, and the same input can produce two defensible answers. That variance is what makes AI useful on problems deterministic software was never built to solve, and what makes it hard to run inside a business organized around certainty. The answer is not to wait for models to become predictable, but to put agent actions inside the orchestration and governance the enterprise already runs, so that an agent’s scope, and who granted it, are settled before it proposes anything. |
